Fuck the Post

Could this piece be any more smug?

How can this be considered "news"?

Media needs to start reporting news, like say, how our executive branch is out of control and nobody seems to have the balls to stop it.

That poor little kid is going to end up the most republicanist of republicans.

This is a classic example of smear journalism masquerading as objective reporting.

Some of the posts and comments on the sites the article talks about are certainly irritating and irrational, but this article imputes this impotent whining to everyone who's left of center, by unspoken, broad-brush association.

It's also bad reporting because it doesn't look at the roots of the phenomenon, or, more intriguing yet, its likely results. Now **that** would be journalism: is this going to result in actual grass-roots change? Upheaval? Assassination attempts? New political parties?

I guess it's more fun to write, and read, such a piece than do actual work, or require it of your reader.

I agree. I mean, the Rude Pundit? That's your example? That's like calling on Ann Coulter as an example of the legitimate voice of the right wing.

Oh, wait.
