Bubba Ho-Tep
If you haven't yet discovered this 2003 cult hit, rent it immediately.
The incomparable Ozzie Davis and the inimitable Bruce Campbell star as nursing home residents who believe that they are JFK and Elvis Presley. Together they battle a soul-sucking ancient Egyptian mummy who is preying on the other residents of the nursing home.
Even the director's commentary, which features Campbell ad-libbing in character, is funny.
Thank you. Thank you very much.

I love that movie, which of course, I own. It's got two of my favorite-ever lines in a movie:
"Not meaning you no disrespect, sir, but Mr. Kennedy was white.
"Take that you big bitch cockaroach!"
Totally love this movie. Good call!
"Look, man, do I look like an icky-ologist to you? Big damn bugs, all right? The size of my fist. The size of a peanut butter and banana sandwich."
Great film, have you ever read anything by the gentleman whose work it's based on, Joe R. Lansdale?
He writes in a bizarrely southern flavored style.
I Netflixed it based on your recommendation and loved it.
This movie is awesome... If you want another (semi)indie hit you need to rent Shaun of the Dead.
Mob: I have not, but then I don't usually read in that genre. If you have something to recommend I would read it however.
Kristi: I know, right?
MJoe: I was afraid Shaun was not going to be as funny as the previews, but it was more funny. Loved it.
This movie is definitely one of our family favorites.
