Harriet Miers resigns in order to spend more time with her lapel pins

Gee, do you think that getting rid of Miers is some kind of signal that the White House thinks they might need an attorney with a bit more going on upstairs in the next couple of months?

'to spend more time with her lapel pins' Thanks, that was great!

Perhaps the lapel pins and necklaces are indicative of her ability to make decisions.

Actually, she appears to have been the victim of several high sticking penalties...

Your headline is straight from the 'Daily Show,' Vikki. You've got a future as a comedy writer for sure. Also, when I saw the Harriet Miers reference, I honestly thought I had clicked in your 2006 archives. These Bushies NEVER go away.

AB - When you tell me how great I am I have no choice but to put you in my links. It's my own special brand of integrity.

Kristi - Except now it is.

SkyDad - She can't help it she's spent her whole life kissing W's ass.

SJ - You have just given me my motto for 2007: WWJSD - What Would Jon Stewart Do?

Grant - Me chick or her chick?

They'll probably just replace her with somebody even stupider. And PS, I agree with your fan club that you are quite funny.

MBP: You wonder how a person can rise to an extraordinary level of responsibility and decision-making, and yet have not one friggin clue that their appearance is, like, borderline psychotic.

Megan: I think over the course of BushCo's reign, they are slowly booting the clueless W TX cronies and replacing them with craven neocon soldiers. Meier's replacement continues that pattern, right?

Megan & Kiki: Funny is one of the few things in life actually worth being, so I thank you.
