Move over, Larry David

There's a new self-loathing Jew in town!

Senator George "Macaca" Allen, who would have lost his senatorial race already if the other candidate weren't sort of vile himself, got all riled up when a reporter asked about his Jewish lineage.

Understandable for a man with a confederate flag and noose fetish.

But he wants us all to know that his mother's Jew blood didn't really, ah, "take": "I still had a ham sandwich for lunch. And my mother made great pork chops."

See? No Jewiness here. Now move along, everybody.

Did you see him on Meet The Press. He sure seems to be cut from the same cloth as Dubya, huh? I was liking Webb until the shit about women in the military. Let's hope VA voters chose the lesser of two evils.

Damn, you two. . .I was working (in my head) on a post about Webb and women in the military and the lesser of two evils.

Oh, and I slept through Meet the Press, despite spending half my Saturday night dorking it up and telling everyone how excited I was to get up and watch it in the morning. I'm sure you both TiVo'd it, though. Right?

Chris: There's nothing wrong with the lesser of two evils. All those assholes who didn't vote for Kerry would disagree with me, I think.

Hope I just didn't call you an asshole.

Megan: No need for TiVo when you have YouTube.

And it's your state, I'd be really interested to hear you point of view on the race.
