And if they won't learn, kill them.

The people of the 8th congressional district in North Carolina must be so proud of their newly re-elected representative, Robin Hayes, who recently said in a speech before constituents:

“Stability in Iraq ultimately depends on spreading the message of Jesus Christ, the message of peace on earth, good will towards men. Everything depends on everyone learning about the birth of the Savior.”

Congratulations, North Carolina's 8th!! You really picked a winner!!

The solution is not more Christians. Its secularization in government.

The less religions get involved with directing our lives, the better off we are.

Mr. Hayes obviously missed his calling-- comedy writing. I'd be hard pressed to come up with an unintentionally funnier line.

Ah yes, it goes back to Bush's "crusade" comment. I think one of the recommendations of the ISG is that we reassure the Iraqis (and other Muslims in the region) that we are not trying to take over their country and convert them all to Christianity.

I doubt Bush will follow that recommendation. Might offend his base.
