Plug #1

Banquet Hall rocked the International Pop Overthrow yesterday!

They've got a gorgeous new song called Ruins, and at the IPO, Rick invited Paula's trumpet player, Lily, from her other project (the amazing Paul Kelly Orchestra) to play on the song.

Awesome.

And if you're from Boston and you listen to the Saint Kermit podcast, you can hear Rick introduce "Nothing's Ever Free" on their recent SK 32 show. He's on about half-way through.

I'm not sure if I hate you more for going or if I hate my kids more for being the unbearable social anchor they are. Sure, they're cute and all, but they don't travel well.

Yeah, I was in the club by 1pm, pretty smashed by 3pm, drinking margaritas and shoveling alcohol-absorbing fat at El Coyote by 4pm, and passed out on my couch by 6pm.

Woo hoo! It's so glamorous, it's like Paris Hilton's life!

Only without the cooch shots.

Ruins is a beautiful song Spooney. Bring the guitar and play it in Mexico!
