But then what would Bill Murray do between poignant hipster film gigs?

Lakini Malich points out the following: "If you remove Garfield's thought balloons, it goes from an unfunny comic to a rather sad, poignant story about a lonely man who has wasted his life talking to his cat."

I thought your headline about Bill Murray was pretty funny considering the Garfield cartoon

Hey, thanks. I am so digging your blog, Mr. Miller!

Naperville.

I recently quit a company that was owned by Motorola, and a good many of the suits that would visit would be from Naperville.

I used to live in Chi-town, and so I would frequently tease the suits about Naperville, just to see how agressively they would respond.

Yeah, the people of Naperville are pretty sure they're special, all right. It's uber-creepy there, if you ask me.

Sure, easy to say that now. Where were you when he was making "Scrooged"?

Naperville is part Williamsburg, part Epcot and a lot of Amityville. Bill Murray was pretty good in that Broken Flowers movie I saw recently.

Bill Murray was good, (I know Miss Vikki agrees with me on this) but I think Jeffrey Wright as the next-door neighbor Winston really shined in that movie.

Jim Davis lived in/near Marion Indiana and was born in Fairmont just down the road.
