It'd make me mad if it wasn't so lame.

So you know that spoof of Al Gore's movie An Inconvenient Truth, that's been floating around You Tube?

Yeah, it's not funny. We already know that.

What we didn't know, is that no matter how cleverly amateurish it looks, it was actually made by a Republican PR firm. A firm that just happens to have Exxon as one of its clients. It's an example of what the media is calling "astroturf," that is, political messages from corporations disguised to look like they have been produced by an individual or as part of a "grass-roots" campaign.

Evil is often genius.

I saw this on Good Morning America late last week. Simply amazing, yet not unexpected. It's hard not to be a TOTAL cynic in this day and age, isn't it?

SJ: GMA...rockin' the internet story...

I can't watch those morning shows, man. They make my flesh crawl.

I concur about the flesh Crawling effect of Morning shows. Insidiousl drivel and of course they have to try and force feed me Katie Couric for my evening news. Thank God for the BBC.
