Ya think?

The Canton, Ohio school board decided that abstinence-only sex education might not be sufficient after 13% of one high school's female students became pregnant in one year.

Thank god dad wisked me down to Planned Parenthood when I was a teen the minute I even thought about having sex. He bought me enough bc pills to eat like candy. Yeah, Dad!

VTT: At least they've learned from their mistake.

GKL: Lucky you. I had a student last year who confided to me she might be pregnant. I had the big talk about birth control. She said she was being safe but the condom broke. I told her (totally overstepping my bounds as a teacher) she needed to walk around the corner to Planned Parenthood and get herself on the pill. She told me her mom didn't want her to go on the pill!!!! A week later she learned she was pregnant. By a guy who already had SIX other kids.

I'm guessing there might not be a whole lot to do in Canton...

GKristiL: That's because me, the older sister, already paved the way for you.

Megan: I guarantee you that the whole "the condom broke" story is bullshit. There was no condom. And that's why that guy has 6 kids.

YSCM: What about the Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival, buddy?

True, but my point was about how stupid her mother was for trying to keep her OFF the pill.

Megan: Yes, of course, that is a given.
